Our C-EB 6th Grade Natural Helpers pitched in to decorate the trees and had an absolute blast doing it! For the second year in a row, beautifully decorated Christmas trees—featuring ornaments created last school year by C-EB K–6th grade students—are now on display at local businesses.
You can find the festive trees at:
🎄 The State Bank of Eagle Butte
🎄 Ubetcha Wateca
🎄 Eagle Butte Dairy Queen
🎄 Eagle Butte CO-OP
🎄 Indian Health Services
A big thank you to our community partners and organizers at The Keya Foundation and Sacred Heart Center in working with our students and shout out to our local businesses for participating in this wonderful holiday activity, helping showcase our students' creative talents. What a great way to celebrate the season! 🌟

✨ Celebrating Native American Heritage Month at C-EB! ✨
Today, our C-EB 6th Grade Natural Helpers hung up beautiful coloring pages featuring Positive Lakota Affirmations—designed by last year’s Natural Helpers and colored by C-EB students.
These affirmations are a meaningful way to uplift positive self-talk, celebrate Lakota identity, and bring more Lakota language into the school environment.
Wóphila to all the students who helped brighten the halls with culture and positivity, and our Keya Foundation and Sacred Heart Center community partners in working with the students!💛🪶

The C-EB FFA Food Sovereignty Project planted its first crop of Hydroponic Lettuce in October 2025; on November 3 the seedlings were transplanted into their final home a 36 cell Hydroponic Grow Table where in 4 weeks they will mature and be harvested for use in the Cafeteria Salad Bar.
Also happening in the High School CTE Class:
C-EB High School CTE students attended the American General Contractors Construction Camp in Pierre on Wednesday, Oct 15. They learned about the tools contractors use to build and maintain Roads, Bridges, and Buildings. What an Awesome opportunity to see how different tools can be used for different jobs. Keep up the learning and looking into the future.
