C-EB 6th Grade Natural Helpers had a big meeting last night with special guest Summer Dupree from the CRST Lakota Cultural Center! As part of this year’s Natural Helper Lakota Affirmation Coloring Book, Summer helped translate and teach the students a set of affirmations. Students then spent the evening creating their own coloring pages to include in the book.
These finished books will be printed and handed out to students in April, when the Natural Helpers host the Easter Bunny for grades 2–6.
It’s hard to believe the school year is already nearing its end, but you can still expect big things from these students before May arrives!
